GREAT WHITE SHARKS

The waters surrounding Guadalupe Island are home to a large number of Great White Sharks that congregate each year in the months of July to December.
 
Great White Sharks are an apex predator, they are the largest predatory fish in the ocean. Once feared and misunderstood by many, Great Whites suffered from having the wrong image in the media. Nowadays it is changing, through divers and photographers from all over the world who share their images and experience, Great Whites are now protected in many places of the world, thus increasing their population.

Great Whites are the largest predatory fish and can grow up to lengths of more than 5 mts and weight up to 2,000+ kgs.
