MOBULA RAYS OFFSHORE SAFARI

The Sea Of Cortez once called “The Aquarium of the World” has an abundance of species and a breathtaking scenery, both topside and underwater. During the summer months in the Sea of Cortez we can witness a magnificent migration of mobula rays. They can aggregate in hundreds or even thousands allowing free divers and snorkelers experience one of the most spectacular events on the planet.

Mobulas are filter-feeding elasmobranchs that can reach up to 3.6 ft in size and jump out of the water in groups. They migrate from the Gulf of California all the way to Peru.

It is also home to a large amount of cetaceans. Although there are no guarantees this has been a good time in the past to see orca pods.

ITINERARY

Early breakfast
We’ll spend between 6-8 hours at sea every day looking for mobula rays.

DAY 7

Early breakfast and check-out of the hotel.
