Best Season to See Mobula Rays in La Ventana

The peak mobula ray season typically runs from April through July and again in late fall, when large schools aggregate in the Sea of Cortez. While sightings are never guaranteed, these months provide the highest chances of swimming alongside them.

- Be prepared to spend long hours on the boat each day
- Snorkeling takes place in the open ocean; we recommend bringing a quality mask, snorkel, and fins
- Must be able to safely enter and exit the water using the ladder on our panga-style boats
