MOBULA RAYS OFFSHORE SAFARI
Each year, hundreds to thousands of mobula rays gather in the Sea of Cortez, creating one of the most breathtaking wildlife events in the ocean. La Ventana, Baja California Sur, is one of the best places in the world to see this natural spectacle up close.
Nomad Diving offers guided day trips designed for snorkelers and freedivers who want a respectful, safe, and unforgettable experience with these incredible animals. From the surface you can see giant schools swirling in unison, and when conditions allow, we enter the water for a closer look.
About the Mobula Ray Migration
Mobula rays migrate through the Sea of Cortez during the warmer months, often forming massive schools that leap from the water and glide just beneath the surface. These gatherings are a unique opportunity to witness the natural rhythm of the ocean in one of the most biodiverse marine environments in the world.
